choanoflagellés, subst. masc. plur. « Groupe de protozoaires flagellés, caractérisés par la présence, autour d'un flagellum unique, d'une collerette hyaline contractile servant à capturer les proies » (cf. QUILLET 1965; aussi ds Lar. encyclop.)
choanoïde, adj. « Qui a la forme d'un entonnoir ».
